About Ria:

Hi, I’m Ria Tajbl and I love sharing yoga with runners, walkers, hikers and people who love moving. When I started running in 2014, I didn’t think I could run outside, my treadmill was my friend; I felt safe. Living in Pacifica at the time, it was a no brainer to run along the beach or a trail, I soon felt the freedom and fun. I also felt some muscle strain especially in tight hips and sore knees. Practicing yoga was a great way to condition my muscles in a different way running does. Running and yoga provides a balance needed in both mind and body. I recently completed my 200 hr yoga teacher training at Yoga Loka Reno, my new high elevation home and teach at the studio live via zoom. We often hear people say they are not flexible or that they often feel stiff or sore. Practicing yoga and stretching is a great way to ‘get loose’. I enjoy every opportunity to teach yoga to runners and athletes, your daily run can also include daily yoga/stretch!
